My dream has always been for Boot Scoop Poopie to be family owned and operated. I never wanted to push anyone to join me in this crazy venture, but I hoped when they all saw how much fun I was having and how much success this business was capable of that some would follow.
Well, dreams do come true. Cassie, who is part owner in the business, has always provided support (emotional & business) and will continue to do so, but she has decided to pursue a career in the medical field. I am so happy that she is following her dreams. Her hubby, Vince, stepped in to help in April of last year while I fulfilled another dream of mine … to travel to Europe with some good friends. A year and a half later Vince is still with me and has decided he’s having fun with his old mom and would like to hang around. Vince’s availability has increased and is in part why we are re-organizing our routes for September 2025.
At the end of 2025, my husband Coleman will be retiring from his career as a Project Manager in erosion control. He will step in to take over the commercial side of our business in a new division we will name – BSP Commercial. This will help to free me up to focus on our residential clients. WHEW!
As our teenager, Hayden, gets closer to getting his license he will step into a part-time role. The kid has got to earn some gas money – right? He’s been along on this journey with me since the beginning and has truly grown into the business.
This is an exciting time for Boot Scoop and for our family. From the bottom of our hearts – we feel so incredibly blessed to have such a wonderfully supportive client base. Without them, none of this would be possible.
